Is Lexus Planning to Roll Out IS Plug-in Hybrid Sedan?

The demand for better sedans is driving some of the top automakers to come up with better performance sedan. Lexus has always been known for introducing some of the best luxury sedans in the market and the automaker has already announced the coupe version of the compact luxury sedan, the IS that will be available with the dealerships next year. However, there are lot of speculations surrounding the hybrid version of IS that still remains a mystery as Lexus has not commented on it.  Many insiders in the industry believe that Lexus is already working on the hybrid concept at the moment which is inspired from the LF-CC Concept that Lexus has already introduced to the market.

On the outside, the coupe will have many similarities with the LF-CC Concept vehicle that Lexus has revealed. However, so far Lexus has not provided any hints on whether they will take inspiration from the LF-CC concept or they will go ahead with a fresh new exterior design that will bring out the hybrid version of IS sedan to the market. Some of the rumors also indicate that Lexus has been planning to introduce more than one hybrid vehicles in the IS range and therefore there has been some kind of delay in launching it. According to What Car Lexus has already hinted that it is not tough for them to introduce a better hybrid version of the IS compact sedan that has gained market attention already.

Honda Sees Automobile Production Improving in China

While Honda has always come up with better production records in Japan the automobile giant has decided to compete in some of the top emerging markets as well. Honda Motor Company has now made an announcement that they have set an all time record for automobile production for the month of November in China. Honda said that they are seeing better trends emerging in the Chinese market and therefore they are concentrating on what the young Chinese car buyers want from the new vehicles. In their report, Honda said that the worldwide automobile production has not been really positive compared to the 2010 results.

In Japan itself, Honda has not been able to boost their automobile production because of the low demand in the market. Honda said that in Japan the automobile production went down 37.8% compared to the 2010 results while outside Japan the numbers fell 27.1% compared to the 2010 reports. The automobile giant also said that in most of the markets outside Japan they have seen their automobile production drop down by good margin which is mainly because of the low demand.

Bentley Debuts 2014 Flying Spur at 2013 Barcelona International Motor Show
